New Zealand will begin their World Cup 2023 campaign against defending champions England at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on October 5. The Kiwis are known to punch above their weight in the major ICC events and they will aim to replicate the good show in the ODI showpiece.
The Blackcaps will aim to come up with a collective effort in the major event. In fact, New Zealand had qualified for the finals of the last two ODI World Cups and they will be looking to cross the last hurdle on this occasion.
New Zealand recently lost the four-match ODI series against England by 3-1 and they will be looking to turn the tables. However, the Kiwis defeated Pakistan by five wickets in the warm-up after chasing 346 runs with Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, and Mark Chapman all scoring half-centuries.
