The defending champions of Vivo Pro Kabaddi Bengal Warriors will lock horns against Jaipur Pink Panthers in the 30th match of the season at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru on Monday.
Both the teams are currently in the bottom half of the points table and they will aim to win their next game.
Bengal Warriors are currently placed in 10th position in the standings with two wins and three losses from five matches they have played. Thus, the reigning champions are yet to find their mojo so far in the Pro Kabaddi 2021 and they have 11 points under their bag.
Bengal Warriors lost their previous match against Patna Pirates by a big margin of 44-30. The team’s captain Maninder Singh was the lone warrior for Bengal as he scored 12 points but he could not get support from his teammates.
On the other hand, Jaipur Pink Panthers, who are the inaugural champions of Pro Kabaddi, have won two matches and lost as many out of the four they have played. Ergo, they are currently at ninth place in the points table with 11 points under their belt.
Jaipur Pink Panthers had also lost their previous fixture against U Mumba by 37-28. Arun Deshwal scored 14 points for the team but the rest of the players could not make valuable contributions.
