Telugu Titans will take on three-time champions Patna Pirates in the 31st match of Pro Kabaddi 2021 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru on Monday.
Telugu Titans are yet to register their maiden win in the season and they will look to open their account against Patna Pirates and thus they will have their work cut out.
The Titans have played four matches thus far out of which they have lost two and tied two matches. Thus, they are currently in 11th place with eight points under their bag. Their last match ended in a 34-34 tie against Bengaluru Bulls and this must have given them a lot of confidence as Bulls occupy the top place in the standings. Ankit Beniwal scored a Super 10 for the Titans in their previous match.
On the other hand, Patna Pirates have got off to a promising start in the season. The three-time winners have won three out of the four matches they have played while they have lost a solitary contest. Patna Pirates have 16 points under their belt and they are placed in fourth place in the standings.
Sajin-led team had convincingly won their previous match against defending champions Bengal Warriors by 44-30. Monu Goyat scored a Super 10 for the team while Sachin added nine points to the team’s win.
