LeBron James joins Lakers legend for most wins in NBA playoffs

The LA Lakers made a roaring comeback in the ongoing conference semifinals against Houston Rockets in the second match after losing the first match by 112-97. The Lakers won the second game of the series 107-109 to level the series 1-1. Lakers superstar Anthony Davis continued his sublime form going as he scored 34 points in the match.

Once again, Davis got the support from his teammate, LeBron James. The King registered 11 rebounds and nine assists as he played at the top of his game. Furthermore, James was brilliant in defense as he recorded four steals and two blocks. James has all the experience under his belt and it was all on display in the second match of the series.

With a fine win for the Lakers, LeBron James joined former team’s legend Derek Fisher for the most playoff wins. James recorded his 161 win of the postseason to join Fisher in the elite list. In fact, James has an impressive playoff win percentage of 65.44 as compared to Fisher’s win percent of 62.16.

James has played 246 playoff matches in his long illustrious career and he would be looking to go past Derek Fisher’s record when the Lakers will take on the Houston Rockets in the third game of the series on Wednesday.

Fisher has played the most number of playoff matches in NBA history – 259. In fact, James is the only active in the top 25 of most playoff wins in the NBA folklore.

The talisman would once again look to be at his best in the next match for the Lakers and continue his good form going. James is chasing his fourth NBA championship and he would aim to take the Lakers to glory in the ongoing season.
