Sri Lanka will lock horns against India in the third T20I at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele on Tuesday. India has won the opening two matches to take an impregnable 2-0 lead and thus the final game will be a dead rubber.
Indian bowlers have done a fine job in the middle overs as they have delivered the goods. The visitors have bounced back after the hosts have got off to promising starts.
Furthermore, Indian batters have adopted an aggressive approach. Newly appointed skipper Suryakumar Yadav has highlighted that the team will continue with the same template in T20Is.
Moreover, Riyan Parag has bowled consistently and he is definitely adding more balance to the team. Ravi Bishnoi was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he returned with impressive figures of 3-26 in the last game and thus was awarded Player of the Match.
On the other hand, Sri Lankan openers – Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis – have given solid starts to the team but their middle order hasn’t been able to capitalize, which has led to their downfall. Ergo, they need to pull up their socks in the batting department. Sri Lankan bowlers will also need to execute their plans to keep the Indian batters at bay.
Match Prediction: India will enter the contest as favorites against Sri Lanka.
