India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test – Stats Preview

India will square off against Bangladesh in the second Test of the series at Green Park, Kanpur from Friday onwards. The home team won the opening Test match by a huge margin of 280 runs and they will look to continue the good show.

On the other han, Bangladesh will aim to bounce back stronger and they will need a collective team effort to challenge the potent Indian team. The Tigers will need to capitalize on the advantage and they can’t let the opposition off the hook.

Ravindra Jadeja needs one more wicket to reach the milestone of 300 wickets. The all-rounder will join Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin as the third Indian player to reach the double of 300 Test wickets and 3000 Test runs.

Virat Kohli needs 35 runs to complete 27000 International runs across formats. Kohli has scored 26965 runs in 593 innings and he is all set to become the fastest to the milestone. The talisman also needs 129 runs to reach the 9000-run mark in Test cricket.

KL Rahul needs 99 runs to reach the 3000-run mark in the multi-day format. The flamboyant batter also needs one four to reach the 350 boundaries.

Rishabh Pant needs 81 runs to reach the 2500-run mark in Test matches.

Shakib Al Hasan needs eight wickets to complete 250 scalps in the Test format. 

Mehidy Hasan Miraz needs five fours to complete 200 boundaries in the red-ball version.

Mushfiqur Rahim needs 87 runs to reach the 6000-run mark whereas he needs one more boundary to complete 700 fours in Test cricket.

Taijul Islam needs five wickets to complete 200 wickets in Test cricket.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto needs a dozen fours to complete 200 boundaries in the red-ball version.
